I never experienced that before and I do hope that I do not experience it ever. I do not think I'd know what to do if that will happen to me.

I couldn't believe when I read your question! OK...here goes: I had a boyfriend about 20 years ago, who was diagnosed with lung cancer. He lived only 11 months after that. I was so upset I just couldn't get over it.....3 months passed and I was still a basket case. One morning, the phone rang and I answered it. It was "his" voice telling me to let him "rest in peace". Then, the phone went dead. I couldn't believe it. I called everyone telling them. But then.....something even stranger happened about 2 hours after that phone call. HIS daughter, who was 14 at the time, called to see how I was doing. Of course I didn't tell her about the earlier phone call, but it was almost like a sign that he was trying to tell me to let him go....let him rest. From that day on, I felt better. I was finally able to move on! So whether it was real or not, which to this day I still swear it was his voice....that call helped me to live my life again!

yes and it was really weird. I didn't know that they had passed away yesterday and they called just 4 hours ago screaming into the phone that someone was going to kill them and then the phone went dead.

No. However, I received a letter from a dear friend, which was postmarked the day before she died in a car crash. At the time it was quite disturbing, but years later that letter became a comfort.

After my dad passed away i found an old voice mail message he had left me before he died. So i guess in a way, although he did PLACE the call before he died.
