Often diet plays a big roll in yeast infections .Yeast thrives and grows in a sugery enviroment. Cut way back on sugar.Have you taken antibiotics recently? That promotes yeast. If your on the BC pill often that causes alot of yeast problems. Also try taking acidophilous tablets This really helps by balancing your Ph and will stop yeast from growing. You can get this at any health food store.make sure you get the live culture type usually has to be refrigerated.Garlic capsules also help withyeast you can take both at the same time.

YES. i feel you. i havnt had one in a while but i would get them constantly and i tryed everything. im prone to UTIs and the antibiotics would give me a yeast infection everytime. and if i had sex a couple times a week i would seem to get them too. guys can have yeast infections but dont really show symptoms so its possible he could be giving it back. also a couple times my yeast infections turned into bacterial vaginosis which u need heavy antibiotics to get rid of and guys can give that back to u too. it all seems to come down to the pH balance in your vagina though. every now and then like after sex or the end of my period i use an over the counter vaginal jell like stuff called RepHresh. it helps to maintain the pH balance and keep things healthy. seems to help me out so i would give that a try. good luck!

I have the same problem. The only thing that seems to work is MetroGel-Vaginal. Don't waste your money on RepHresh. Trust me it's a waste of money.
People automatically assume this it is a STD and that is not always the case. Also make sure you wipe from front to back. Ecoli has been linked to the infection as well. The lastest claim is that it may be linked to diabetes.
If you find a cure please pass it on to me. I'm constantly getting them. Take the medication and I'm fine. Two weeks later it's back again.

My guess is that the original yeast infection just isn't clearing up comletely. You aren't having recurring yeast infections if they are only days apart. Go to the doctor, tell them of the problem, and ask for a significantly longer treatment regiment.

1) Loose underwear (go nude at night)
2) Have your partner checked and treated (you might be passing it back and forth)
3) Eat lots and lots of yogurt
4) Get checked for Diabetes (esp if it runs in your family)
5) Lose weight if you are overweight (honestly, yeast infections are very common if you have a significant problem with weight - with weight rolls that just don't get cleaned)
