I've reported it to my boss and he sent it to HR. Now what happens. I don't think they are going to fire the guy, but I do think they will worn him. He makes me feel very uncomfortable. What he does something to me for telling on him? I'm afraid. I just wish it never happened. It makes me so upset.

Yes, by my boss. Where do you go with that? Unfortunately by law all they have to do is write a report and warn this creep. If he does it again he could get fired but depending on what he does for the company and where he is on the food chain depends alot on what happens to him. Lets face it, in this world it will come down to who is more important to the company him or you. If it is a tie and you know it is a tie I would go t o your Boss and say if this happens again I will quit without notice. With me I had to leave because there was no one I could go above to. You might try to set this guy up to try it again and have someone nearby to come to your aid and witness the harassment. Problem is harassment is a matter of opinion with most companies. A guy can say Hi nice and sweet or he can say it like he is implying he wants to do something to you sexually. If he never says anything sex related to you it can be misinterpreted. The only other recourse you have is the police. If your company is not willing to do anything go to the police and file a report. Problem with this scenario is you could get fired for going outside the company with the problem which legally you have the right to do but businesses don't always see eye to eye on this.

Great that you told on him! Hopefully, this will make him reconsider doing it again. If he does do it agin, tell again! He needs to know that you refuse to take it and this doesn't happen in a work environment. I was sexually harrassed by my boss at a job and I was so young I didn't do anything. Oh, if I saw him on the street now! I wonder what his wife would have said too... Anyway, you did the right thing and there is nothing to be afraid of or upset about. He needs to stop!!!!

Make sure you follow up with your HR people to find out what happened. If he continues to harass you or does something about you telling he can be fired. Don't be afraid and don't feel bad about telling. You have the right to not be sexually harassed at work.

This happened to me once, but fortunately the company had a 'no tolerance' policy and there were witnesses to what happened to me, so the man was immediately dismissed from the job. Thank God he didn't come after me!

I don't know what to tell you, but I hope your situation is resolved soon.

My only suggestion: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Every time you talk to someone about it, every time something out of the ordinary happens... document it ALL, no matter how insignificant you may think the event... if it pertains to your harrassment claims, document it. You may need this information if and when it becomes necessary to retain the services of a lawyer.

Godd luck!

Why do you want to see people get fired from their job? I witnessed as guy that didn't do anything wrong get shitcanned because of some nasty hooker that made advances at me. I just brushed it off because I am not a prima donna or a crybaby.

If I saw somebody try to get a co-worker fired, I would exploit that it would be bad for you too.
