There are no medication procedures in special education.

Many people are on medication for a variety of problems. It doesn't constitute special education services. Nor can you be special education and have to go on medication to treat whatever.

I think you need to clarify your question more and then myself and others can help you.

I am not sure what you are asking. Do you want to know if medications are recommended by school? NO
Are medications given out during the school day? Yes, usually by a school nurse or medical professional
Are medications used with special education students? Often (sometimes over used)
Can medications help special ed. student work better? YES! They can focus better and feel better about themselves - not out of control, not everyone picking on them...

The little bit longer answer-talk to your doctor to see if medication is even necessary.
