The Bible says: the poor will always be with you. And so they will. Poverty is a state of mind. We are renewed by transforming the mind so then yes and many have come out of poverty by changing their attitude, and it is indeed something to be prayed for ,

Gladly! When you pray and say, ´´Let thy kingdom come´´ you are invoking God on behalf of all the people of the earth; not only to end poverty but also to end wars, plagues, diseases and all the evils of this present satanic system of darkness. You cannot solve anything by any other means except the ones established by God himself. You cannot save yourself, only Jesus can save you. His Word has proved to be the absolute truth since all His prophecies are coming to pass; Repent and believe the gospel. God bless you!!!

God prefers poor people, it says so in the bible."I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Matthew 19:24
So why end poverty? It's better to be poor anyways!

People who are unable or unwilling to do anything pray and feel better about themselves. They think theyve done their bit by asking for help. If only it was that simple.

Religion is a way to make people feel better about their shortcomings in life. Telling them "there there, its ok, Jesus has this problem too" or making them pray to give them hope.

There is no place for religion in todays educated world.

Praying helps nothing...getting out and doing something works.
This is why theists have extremely poor members....they are asked to pray.

it won't, but the purpose of praying for something like thatis to make people feel better by making them think they are doing something about it without actually doing anything to solve the problem
