It is ABOUT TIME that Israel did what every country would do if continually attacked by barbarians, and God willing will do this time COMPLETELY. PALESTINIANS are always the ones who do something violent to kill real chances for peace, OR their STUPID people SUPPORT, HARBOR.. even ELECT.. terrorists. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and I am unbelievabnly joyous that Isreal is finally doing something and hopefully turning the deaf ear that was due LIBERAL whining and hate for decades. Mr. Gillerman's statements at the UN were the absolute TRUTH! concert with the USA. Bush seems to be enjoying his BBQ in Stralsund, bless him. It really doesn't matter because LIBERALS will whine and blame the USA, and to a MUCH lesser extent, Israel whether they do anything or not. I wouldn't even mind Putin sticking his nose in and having it wiped by Israel and the USA. The TRUTH is, if the shoe were on the other foot, barbarians like Hamas, Ahmadenejad and Hezbollah would kill Americans and Israelis without pause.

I'm happier then you!! but what drives me crazy is that the world thinks Israel is the bad one,if they would just open their eyes and stop being scared what the Arab country's are gonna say,they would see that Israel is just defending it self against terrorists!!!

Wow, I think you need to deal with your aggression. Why don't you learn a few facts before making such statements.
Don't you know that Israel belonged to the Palestinians less than 70 years ago and they were kicked out by the Jews who came to occupy their land. Millions had to leave, their homes were taken and many were murdered.
Ever since Israelis have killed many more Palestinian civilians than terrorists have . They pollute the Palestinian water, lock up thousands of women and children and make life hell generally.
Terrible as they are, the Israelis deaths by terrorists add up to nothing compared to the death and destruction caused by Israelis.
Most of the world sees Israel as the terrorists.

You believe this because you are a brainwashed idiot who only sees what he wants to see. You seem (like most Americans) to ignore the fact that Israel has been treating the Palestinians like slaves.
Who has all the power? The Israelis have gunships and tanks. The Palestinians have rocks and brainwashed dopes who blow themselves up.
Why is it Israel defending themselves when they blow up arab civilians, but when their civilians are killed it's an outrage? Try looking into the history of the situation before you just flat out condemn all of the Palestinians.

In general I support President Bush, but he's way off base in supporting Israel in this instance. I think they've taken things too far. Sure they have a right to defend themselves, but what they're doing to Lebanon is beyond the pale. They are pushing us (the world) to the brink of World War III. I voted for Bush both times. That doesn't mean I have to agree with everything he does in the name of America. Israel needs to show some restraint.

To be honest, neither side is right. Yes, the Palestinians are extreme in their suicide bombings and other forms of unnecessary killings, but Israel is no better! Israel has been taking a huge dump on palestinians for years, its no wonder so many of them are willing to go to such great lengths for revenge. Summary:both sides are wrong. If they want to blow each other up, so be it. The result will be les crazy people on this earth!

All this happens on both sides because of the stupid uncalculated actions and reactions of some people who have other goals to achieve except peace. These indecisive actions (some raids here or there) do not have any effect upon the muscle-showy leaders as long as the fuel and victims of these actions are just poor civilians.

I am happy about it, though it probably means WW3. I dont like war, but I've seen it coming for awhile, so get on with it. I just wonder how long it will take for the world to really see the Islamic threat? People have eyes but they dont seem to see.

im not happy they are killing innocent lebanese, hezbollah makes lebanese people look bad but they arent my husband is lebanese and he never did anything bad. many of his friends and damily are being completely up-rooted and possibley killed or injured. this is really terrible.
