I went to the bathroom this morning ( I am about 8 weeks pregnant) and a piece of fluffy looking tissue about the size of a lima bean (maybe a little bit smaller) that was in a compact ball came through. I was worndering does tissue passage always = miscarriage or is that just something I didn't need anymore? Was that the fetus that passed or part of something else?

OK... I think you should contact your doctor immediately.. and not just be worried aout miscarying.
Sometimes, in early pregnancy, it IS possible to pass a little bit of blood 'spotting'. This may be normal. However, you must remember that MOST spontaneous abortions or 'miscarriages' occur in the 1st trimester - so you have to be extra careful. Now, considering its only 8weeks - Have you been for regular antenatal visits? Who diagnosed you as being pregnant? Have you had an ultrasound?
You must remember that there are alot of things that could give a FALSE positive pregnancy test - one of the common bein a 'hydatiform mole' - which is not actually a fetus inside you but just a blob of tissue. Now the reason I mention this is because in a molar pregnancy, it is commonly seen that the lady passes 'fluffy' pieces of tissue or vesicles. This is a dangerous condition, which can lead to hypertension, preecclampsia, and much later complications include cancer. However, it is easily diagnosed on ultrasound and based on BHcg levels - a blood test. So - go see you doc now!! Hopefullly, it wont be anything serious... but early diagnosis means better prognosis.

If this tissue was bloody, then it's probably something wrong there. If you are having sharp cramps in your stomach, that means something really bad. If the tissue looked almost white with a light yellowish tint then it's probably just a piece of your mucus plug coming out. The mucus plug forms when a woman first gets pregnant, and it protects the baby throughout the entire pregnancy because the plug doesn't let anything in...like sperm or water.

If you start cramping, you should call your nurse/doctor.
Hope I helped.

ok basically relax. Stressing out will no longer help the region. right this is what you may desire to do circulate to your physician and request a blood attempt to make certain your Hcg ranges. clarify how some distance alongside you're and which you have become adverse being pregnant tests nevertheless. have you ever had a great result with this being pregnant? If no longer then it ought to in straightforward terms be which you're no longer rather as some distance alongside as you think of (possibly you ovulated relatively late or some thing). I certainly have heard of a few women no longer getting a great result until eventually they have been like 10 weeks so it is not inevitably a demonstration of a few thing undesirable. in case you have been getting beneficial outcomes and now you're no longer then see that physician asap. basically breath and examine out and relax. Wait until eventually you recognize what is going on in the previous freaking out. solid success hun, wishing you the terrific

You probably need to call your doctor. I don't think tissue passage always means a miscarriage but it might mean a miscarriage. I think a miscarriage is generally accompanied with some bleeding and/or cramping, I know when I had one it was. Just call your doctor to be sure.

Passing tissue is indeed a sign of miscarriage. Normally a doctor would want you to save it in a jar so they can examine it. Are you bleeding at all now? Having cramps? You need to get to your gynecologist and have them examine you as soon as you can.

If you did miscarry, I'm so sorry for your loss.

big number one!!!!!!! call your doctor. this could very well be miscarriage. this is not a normal thing to pass when you are pregnant. if there is bleeding then you need to go right in. the can do a pelvic to check the cervix and also and ultra sound to see if the fetus is there and is viable.

You shouldn't be asking US questions that could endanger you or your unborn baby! You need to call your doctor NOW or go to the hospital. Anything that doesn't feel right or look right should be checked by someone qualified to do so. If it isn't serious at least you've put your mind at ease!

You have a high probability of miscarrying if you are bleeding and cramping. If you are missing those two signs and symptoms I would assume you have not miscarried. However, you are worried, please go in to your OBGYN and describe the tissue and have them examine your cervix to make sure that it is still closed.
