They should make the playoffs. Remember they play in the toughest division in the NFL. If they don't win the division they should at least make it as a wild card. No doubt.

Take the West with Rivers at QB? No way. Marty ball will rely to much on Tomlinson once again and he'll be hurt and out by week 10. I see the Chargers at 9-7 at best, maybe 2nd or 3rd in the AFC West.

They will take the AFC West this year. LT, GAtes, Merriman, Williams, Lorenzo Neal..these are all pro bowlers. Add players like Donnie Edwards, Michael "the burner turner", Keenan Mc Cardell, Eric Parker, Mike Scifers...you have your self an AFC Championship. Go Chargers. Raiders Suck

Dude, you have an unproven QB, a so-so D. and a mediocre Head Coach.
Be happy if you go 9-7 and maybe......squeek into the playoffs.
Week 1 in Oakland will be a HUGE TEST.

im from san diego and went to see many games last year. if they have l.t running the ball they have a chance, the leauge is an ok talent this year, i dont think anyone is going to run away with it this year. also you have gates at tight end and a decent wide out in kennan mcardell. i say they go 11-5 this year.
