Ethics and morals are a part of the human condition because we are part rational beings (that may not need them) and we are part irrational emotional beings. In order for we humans to function well the idea of a moral code of ethics of some type seems to be necessary for us to function.

More symply put: because we are human.

just part of life,a lot of people might say i have no morals,but how can one justify ones morals over an others,my biggest thing about people are the ones who are liars,
ones who kills animals for fun,with out even a thought other than a trophy,its one thing to kill for food,but to just waste animals is uncalled for,
i raised my children not to steal and help the needy,
but one can knock me over my open sex life,
for which man is perfect oh,

They are. If people don't know what's wrong and one's right, people will not know how to conduct themselves. And everyone will suffer. Without morals, supermarkets couldn't stay in business as people would be constantly stealing. Education systems would be ineffective as people would be constantly cheating.
