what do you think about the Davinci code's film?

I was disappointed. I loved the book and went on the read his other three books but the film did not have the same emotion and depth as the book. It followed the theme of the book quite well and the actors were great, particularly Paul Bettany but still I did not come out of the cinema thinking wow. I cannot explain why it was not as great as I thought it would be but it did not live up to the hype for me. It was not a flop just not what I hoped for.

Well.. it's OK.. the actors are great, specially Paul Bettany but it lacked a lot from the book, like 40% Anyway, I loved the message at the end, that you believe what you want.
.. f you liked the book, try Angels and Demons, even better than The Da Vinci Code

I thought it was a n interesting concept, but I think the critics read to much into the message of the film. After all, it is another what if, a theory, and would it really matter if it was true or not?

Read the book, haven't seen the film. Would love to see the film tho. Dan Brown's a good writer. Lots of research.

Oh and btw, its non-fiction so I bet its fabricated.

I agree with Miss California. It doesn't matter if it is true or not. Our moral standing should not be shook. As for the movie, I would say it needed a bit more action and suspense.

I really enjoyed it, thought Paul Bettany was good but was not convinced by Tom Hanks performance, don't think he was the right actor for the part.
