Everything has a 1st time. Remember all the names of the person you meet and which department they are from.Tough? People like to be remember and they will remember you. Never talk about your last job and show interests to the topic or talk of the day but dont comments or as little as possible. Before you leave for home, say "Thank you for today and see you tomorrow"

Just be yourself. Normally when your first day at work someone will be assigned to guide you along and tell you more about the organisation. So dun be nervous and try not to surf net even you are free as it create a bad impression of yourself. All the best to you in your new job.

Just do what you are ask to do. If you got a computer that can surf the net don't lock in to MRIC or ICQ. Can check those related to your job. Keep mobile ring low. Don't use the company phone as yours home phone.
PS. : I just start work 1 week ago.

realize that everyone single person at your new job was new once too! they all had to go through the nervousness in order to get to where they are today, and you'll do the same. Know that you are not expected to understand anything yet, and just enjoy your new environment. Good luck.

Just remember that they don't expect too much of you - you're new! This will be probably the most relaxing day you'll have.

don't know what your job is, so it's a little tough to answer . . . but -
don't surf on the internet . . .
ask your boss what you can do to "come up to speed' as quickly as possible
be nice to everyone and ask them how you can help out
