Sure. Our parish priest does house blessings all the time. The traditional time of year for it is in January after the Feast of Theophany, when Christ was baptized in the Jordan by St. John the Baptist. (We are Eastern Orthodox Christians.)

An annual house blessing is a very good idea. When moving into a new home, it's really important to clean out that residue of previous tenants. Then, once a year, a new blessing cleans out the accumulated "bad vibes" that arise just from getting through life one day at a time, along with whatever larger traumas may have happened. On the positive side, a house blessing is also important for preserving the clean and positive spiritual atmosphere of the home.

This is a good question! Spiritual hygiene can be just as important as physical hygiene.

Absolutely! Though I'm not a priest, but I've heard of this.

A priest would be happy to see your place blessed
Knowing it would give you some rest.

If you can find one who is willing, go for it.

But, don't tell him/her that you place is affected by a spirit -- that might cruel your efforts.
