OK.. you can deal with this in a few different ways.
1. Be flattered that she thinks your so creative and leave it alone.
2. Tell her that you flattered but it makes you feel irritated when she takes the credit for your imagination
3. Encourage her to create her own identity
4. Look at it as petty. Ignore it, and be flattered

It sounds like to me she wants to be a creative person but isn't.
Also sounds like she is insecure and just wants to fit in.

I would gently ask her not to pawn your ideas off as her own though because it is dishonest.

Dont sweat the small ****. Clothes are just clothes. Its not about the clothes its about the person in them. If she cant even get her own sense of style and always has to copy you then her personal life must really suck (especially the fact that she makes it seem like she is the one that has the style and you are the copycat, thats a no-no because shes flipping the script). Try getting more friends too, its good to have ALOT so that if somebody starts acting "stink" then you have other people to hang with.

Why don't you shop together and help her with getting a style of her own.

You obviously have a great fashion sense if she copies it!

Don't tell her she is getting on your nerves, she just admires you a lot. They say that people copy things they admire in others...that's what she is doing.

i had that problem as well. i mean its very annoying and its a real bother but i found out. her mother taught her to copy me becuase i was suppose to be her role model and thats why she did everything that i did. but i sounds like u have an admirer, a little jelouasy and she wants to be you and the only way she can do this is by dressing like you. i mean if she gets real out of control i would tell her parents to get her some help

If you consider your self to be a nice person, and your friend copies you . Their should be no problem, I would be so honored about it, Love is not soft like water, It is hard like rock, on which the waves of hatred beat in vain.

you need to talk to her if anything is getting on your nerves.

but also..it is kind of a compliment. i know it kinda sucks and its not easy to just brush off but for the most part -> think that theres more things in life to worry about.

That's kind of flattering, isn't it? You don't need credit for it, do you really, just be her friend. She obviously likes your style, and maybe wants to be like you, and you're bein' kinda mean about it.

Maybe you should think about it this way - she has NO fashion sense of her own - she likes yours enough to imitate it. Be honored that she thinks your style is so great.
