I would have to say Crash. Flawless intermixing of many characters, amazing dialogue and a message about racism that everyone can appreciate.

I would say that there's a three way time between An Officer and a Gentleman starring Richard Gere and Louis Gossett Jr., Grease starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, and Ghost starring Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze.
An Officer and a Gentleman was a moving drama about a young man who finds his place in life by joining the military and along the way falls in love and loses his best friend to suicide. This movie will make you laugh and cry. Also, the relationship between the young man (Gere) and his drill sergeant (Gossett) evolved nicely. This movie is a classic.
Grease is just a fun movie. It's a musical and you will be singing along and doing the dances. It captures the essence of an era long gone. I loved it.
Ghost is just a wonderful love story. The scene in which Swayze's ghost says that he would give anything just to be able to touch his wife (Moore) again melts my heart every time. I still cry when I watch this movie and I've seen it several times.

Contact.
It fulfilled this deep need in me at the time.
Then I rewatched it and it seems almost dated now. But my heart was racing the first time I saw it.
Oh yeah, and the Love Affair was very genuine, not fakey-fakey.
Life is Beautiful is a close runner up, but I could never, ever watch it a second time. Hits close to home.
