Do you think Advent Children was a good follow up on the game, or do you think square could have done better?

I think the movie was a faithful follow up to the game.
Everything in the movie was great, the characters, the animation, and even the plot. (although at times it got weak).
I think that Square-Enix is definitly on the right track, and I think this movie proves it.
I give this movie a 5 out of 5

I gave Advent Children an 8, great ...The graphics and whole plot correspond with the game..only a bit dissapointed ....tbc

i think it was great for what it was, a good follow up to the game. i did think it was a little lacking in story even if the graphics make up for it.
but with all the BS going on with the guy who run the games and this movie - nervous breakdown, staff quiting, etc, i think they still did a good job.
i think its hard being such a FF fan to not have expectations and too not 'knock' it, but i enjoyed it a lot, but could have done better (just not perhaps under the circumstances).

I think they could have done a lot better. It had way too much flash and not enough story. And I was very disappointed about how much it was like anime.

I loved the movie but I think the story could of been a wee bit better but other that that it was freakin great.

it was definetly better then i thought it was going to be. i was expecting it to be in the same time frame as 7. just put into animation. but its more a story of future events. and when it was first being desgined i read somewhere that it wasnt going to be just animated. that it was going ot also be a little interactive. oh well i thought it rocked.

I agree with Tolly, the storyline disappointed me, other than that, the animation looked great.

the animation was excelent and the fight scenes but damn that story line was bbbaaddd....
was a wee bit dissapointed
