in Win ME......My favorite....lol....click START-PROGRAMS-ACCESSORIES-SYSTEM TOOLS-SYSTEM RESTORE.........pick your restore date and go from there. You can change settings in there also.

I have an HP computer which has system restore on it. It's really a lifesaver. All you do is go to accessories, system restore, and create a restore point which is the time and date you are typing the information. I always do this before I download anything new. If something goes wrong, the download (heaven forbid) contains adware or a virus, you can go back to system restore and put your computer back to the restore point which is before you downloaded.

I feel sorry for you. Windows ME is a nightmare. You should upgrade definitely or you're going to have continuous headaches with that one.
