I tried asking her but she said its too embarrassing?!She only mentions her med appts n e hospital she goes to.. i feel upset & dumb so i stopped asking her abt her health.Its been almost 2 yrs now.

maybe you are her best friend just because she chooses not to tell you personal stuff dosent neccasseraly mean she dsnt want you as a best mate it culd mean she dosent want to loose you as a best mate or she is embarresed to tell you maybe you should wait for her to tell you in her own time

first of all u need to mention whether shes discussed this prob wid ny1 else or not! if she has then sorry babes u aint her besti anymore shes more interested in keeping secrets frm u!
the other side of the prob may b...shes having sum wierd medical prob she dsnt wanna discuss wid ny1..but shes still keepng u aware f d fact dat she has a prob...!rest u have to tok to her and find out for the final time.all the best

its prolly that with you she feels comfortable and doesnt think about whatever medical problem she may have. she just wants to keep it a secret and i dont think its just you shes keeping it from. obviously she hasnt told anyone. at least she clues you in on her medical appointments and such. it must be hard but you should ignore the fact and just be her friend. best friend that is. the medical problem must be really embarressing and you should respect that right of hers to keep it from you.
theres much more other things to worry about. that has nothing to do with her being you best friend and doesnt take away from that.

I think when someone keeps a secret from you, it is more about them, than you. If she doesn't feel safe to tell you, you shouldn't take it as an insult, she's feeling fragile and embarrased. Just be her friend and let her know you are there for her, it isn't necessary that you know everything about her, to be her friend, right?

maybe she is ahsamed of it.. even though we can be best of friends we can also look at others differently. i mean its not on purpose but it happens
