With this person that you have tried to stay together for so long, ask your self this. Can I sit at the same table and look across it and write down all the good things that we as a team have done good and bad. What you need to do to make changes to make it work and what they have do to make it work. You have to write it all down and be serious with each other then compare and make a true to life decision. God Bless

When one asks a question like this, it's time to stop. Obviously, you're at a crossroads and the best thing to do is let go and move on. If it's meant to be, it would be already.

You stop trying when you stop loving, otherwise you try and try and try. Love is worth fighting for. If you find that you are miserable, and there is more bad than good, and more irritation than love...Then you have to search yourself to find out if you really love that person.

You stop trying after you've gone through therapy or some sort of counselling. If that does not work than don't waste your time.

What are the factors? Cheating, Alcoholism, Drug abuse, Domestic Violence? Maybe you just need to sit down and talk "WITH" each other and try to accept each other for who you are.
