i work in retail and people are so weird about them

I'm not afraid of them, they aren't usually a good deal. If you are paying a significant percentage of the purchase price to "protect" against it breaking, it is kinda like extortion! Plus, the companies wouldn't be offering extended warranties if they weren't making money on them.

Usually, they are a waste of money. I've been buying appliances for over 30 years, and never bought an extended warranty on anything. And I've never been sorry.

you just spent money to buy it and you want us to spend more and i think if it 's going to break it will be within the first year which is cover and some of the things dvd cd player you just buy new ones there so cheap now
