Pretty Tired. I think that the PT Cruiser is, with the exception of the Pacer, The dumbest looking vehicle ever put into production.

Officially, it doesn't stand for anything. PT is the internal Chrysler designation for the car (DCX assigns 2 character names to all their cars; TJ = Wrangler, WK = Grand Cherokee, PM = Caliber, etc).
Although the people I work with at DCX say it refers to 'Panel Truck', since the car's lines look similar to the work vans of that era.
