Xmen. Superman is cool and all but he has very few faults with him. The Xmen are all 'real' characters with faults and disadvantages. I find the Xmen more a story of the outcast trying to fit into society.

Xmen 3 sucked. Superman Returns rocked. I say Superman is the best.

X-Men is more exciting AND has Hugh Jackman. Superman is a flying boy scout and virtually indestructable, so fights with him leave a little bit of the suspense out, lol. But Superman (as was pointed out in Kill Bill Vol. 2) does have the more interesting mythology.
