All I know is that your computer has to be blue tooth compatible. My phone came with a disk and program but I could only hook up my phone through the usb cable because the computer isn't compatible. Hope you get the answer you need

You need a bluetooth usb adapter ( or dongle) on your pc
You have to enable bluetooth on your pc and your phone so they can see each other; then you have to "pair" them so they can communicate usually by entering a four digit code.
It's hard to be specific: a lot depends on the bluetooth software you're using and your mobile phone.

You cannot. Bluetooth technology, when applied to a cellular phone can only bee used to communicate with a head set. When applied to a computer is used for wireless networking. It only makes sense to be able to use the two together, however, for security purposes you can't. Do you want to be found talking to someone on the phone one minute then have a script kiddie jack your telephone number and all your friends numbers AND your call history?
I'd buy and use the USB adaptor available from you phone's manufacturer, just look it up!

You have a bluetooth USB dongle right? Plugged in and light flashing? Sounds like no as you would have been walked through setup and pairing with other bluetooth devices.
Buy a bluetooth dongle, install drivers, follow setup wizard and read instructions.

Dose your computer have blue tooth capability or do you need a USB dongle. (Bluetooth peripheral device)
it is a small device not much longer and wider then an adult males thumb, it plugs into the USB port on your box and can be programed to find your phone quite easy.
I have one on three of my PCs and I use them daily.

A Dongle is the way to do it. However, if your PC is operating on Windows XP, make sure that the Dongle is XP compatible
