And what was their ranking prior to the World Cup?
I'm a Ghanaian and Ghana has moved 23 places up from 48th to 25th place after the World Cup.I guess that calls for a celebration!

Well I thought the question was straight forward. What is the current ranking of your country in the latest FIFA ranking and how is it different from the previous ranking?I hope this is clearer.

Iraq = down 36 places to 88 but i guess they are doing alright for a team that has Home matches played abroad and coaches recieving death threats from insurgents

Just a correction - the US WAS ranked 5th but now the US is ranked 16th.

I was supporting the Netherlands, and they're down to 6th place (used to be 3rd). I'm not too disheartened though, as they are a young team, and their goal was to do well in Euro 2008. And let's face it, 6th isn't bad at all. I'm also Canadian, and they seem to have improved quite a bit in the rankings. Here's to hoping they can get things on track and maybe qualify for only the second time within the next 1 or 2 World Cups. It's a bit of a long shot, but you never know. Stranger things have happened.

But congrats to Ghana, they had a great World Cup for their 1st ever appearance!

What a question?
Well i supported France and I forgot their ranking.
Well I also supported Argentina (9th).

Some teams have got the wrong rankings, USA, who only got 1 pt in this world cup after the match between winners Italy & USA were drawn, USA lost to Ghana & Czech Republic. SO how come they're 5th?

Couple issues 1st. Mexico is extra corrupt rather even as their own president bought the votes to win the election second. Why mexico? i imagine it will be extra valuable in any u . s . a . that hasnt hosted it two times alredy third. Brazil poor? I dont imagine so in the different case they wouldnt have gained the bid for 2014 4th. What makes you imagine mexico will win wc at living house in the experience that they cant even beat jamaica at living house throughout the time of a qualifier? And very last. even as did mexico win of a bathroom (except for young ones communities) im fantastically particular that should be in no way. No offense in common words cuz you thumb me down doesnt advise im incorrect its all real

I support Argentina, and they have moved up from #9 to #3, despite getting knocked out of the Cup in the quarterfinals, so I'm VERY happy and proud of my team. Celebration time!

I supported Germany, they are now in the 9th place of the world rank. They were in the 19th before the WC, if I'm not mistaken. But I'm from Indonesia, and we are now in the 139th. Before, we were in the 110th. ~sigh~ WC seems so far far awaaaaay for us... =(

Anyway, congrats on Ghana success in the WC! =D
