Is there any difference between PATIENCE and PERSEVERANCE? How do you differentiate them and which is superior?

i would say that patience is where you wait for something... perserverence is where you work at something until you achieve it... i would think maybe perserverence is the superior because it takes real balls to keep working at something :)

i don't know that there is much difference...i believe perseverance would have a lot more work involved...usually deals with some kind of persecution...patience is just more the idea of sitting back and waiting for something to happen

To me, patience is "putting up" with something

Persevarance is "try try again", perseverance is when you keep trying something until you get it right.

Perseverance- that seems more of an action
word to me. It means you keep going against
all obstacles. Against all strife.

To me Patience can be used w/ perserverance
but by itself it tends to feel like more of a quiet
word..waiting-listening. I dunno im no scholar
but these are the initial feelings i get when i
hear the two words.

Yes, being patient is waiting for something without geting angry, upset or frustrated, etc and having perserverance is to keep trying at something, no matter what and not giving up just because it's hard or something your not used to, etc. :)
