You are daft, you should have gone to your GP as soon as you noticed the lump. Cancer does not give you a cooling off period, you need to get it checked immediately. 15 years ago I found a lump in my breast & it was really sore, I went to the doctor THE SAME DAY & it turned out to be mastitis, I hope for your sake that's all thats wrong with you because if it's cancer you have left yourself very vulnerable for not seeking help straight away. Don't sit there waiting for replies on yahoo answers, you'll only get the same reply off everyone else..........GET TO THE DOCTOR NOW!!! Go on, get your shoes on & get going.

Well you should really see your doctor to have it checked out. But painful breast lumps are less likely to be cancer, so try not to worry too much about that. Some people get lumpy breasts just before their periods, and they get pain with it too. It's probably just that, but you should see a doctor anyway to be sure.

most breast lumps are benign cancer does not hurt You should have it examined by an Md as soon as possible. I know it is not easy , but do go and have it looked at they will take a mammogram and what needs to be done will follow. Pray and trust God to bring you through it .

If you find a lump you must go to your doctor. It could be nothing, it could be something, you have to get it checked out.

But, on the bright side, I have read that cancer lumps do not cause pain, so you don't need to panic. Just go and have it checked, so that you know.

Boobs are really lumpy anyway - and the LEAST likely explanation is that you have breast cancer.
However, you must, must, must see a doctor straightaway. If it is anything to worry about the sooner it's dealt with the better the outcome.

It may be due to your age which i didnt see in your question... the main fact is you should have your doctore check it out by really in some younger woman i believe there called milk sacs and you can have one even if your not prego...

go straight to ur doctor, has it gone bigger? i av also heard that its not painful when u av cancer of the breast, but still go to doctor...good luck, hope it turns out 2 b nothing
