By unnecessary I mean regulations that restrict society to a point that it becomes virtually impossible for its normal middle-income citizens to become successful.

Government employees are like cockroaches. The scuttle around simply trying to justify their jobs to their superiors who need to justify their jobs to their superiors etc...The only thing that they all do is eat from the public money trough and deficate on the public that pays them.

Possibly you slept through a couple of your classes. Government employees don't sit around chit chatting and dreamiing up things to make your life miserable. They work at the behest of congress. Congress passes the laws and the employees must carry them out. Congress doesn't always give a lot of thought as to how their laws will be carried out or how convaluted or ignorant the law might be. Your gripe is higher up the food chain....but I guess you missed that year of school.

Republicans don't want normal middle income citizens to become successful. They only care about the rich.

You need to call your legislator when they are making laws you do not agree with . you voted them in you have a voice. Make as many phone call as you can. then next time when it comes time to vote again ,make sure you vote . voting can change everything. But you must stand and call , vote. If you do not vote or make some calls then what have you to complain about ? Then call as many people as you know give them the phone numbers and tell them to call . and ask them to ask people they know . If there is a talk radio show in your area call them . many voices are heard. but you must become active and get involved , or be rolled over by special interest of some shallow minded person who got voted into office. and people who made things worse this term should not be re voted into office again. MAKE YOUR VOICE COUNT , VOTE AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE HEARD , SPREAD THAT BAD NEW ABOUT THE LAW MAKERS WHO MAKE REGULATIONS THAT YOU HATE!!!

Become an advocate and write to your congressmen.
Hire an attorney and seek legal action against the specific regulation that affects you. This gets the court system to work on it.

I suggest that you write a petition to your local governing body. They can then formulate a regulation that will deal with this issue appropriately.
