Mostly no, but in a way yes. I think they all lie...no matter what party they belong to, but I think lying about a war is a little worse than lying about an affair you had in your personal life that had absolutely nothing to do with running the country.

Yes it does, I don't care if they lie about personal issues but I care deeply if their lies (or lack of information I guess) results in bad foreigh policy.

Please provide context. If his wife asks him if her dress makes her look fat and he says "no" even if it does, it doesn't matter to me.
If he lies under oath then yes it matters.
