Of course people will tell you age shouldn't matter but quite frankly it does. I only know that you are 20 years older so lets step decades into the future. You are now 80 and your other half is only 60. The health issues you face at 80 put a big burden on your partner at 60. See my point? If i had the chance to date a woman 20 years my junior I'd jump at the chance, but marriage? No.

It doesn't matter as long as you understand and accept the future implications. for example a 20 year old girl wanting to marry 50 year old man.
Marriage is a life commitment and not a few years commitment
I personally don't encourage it as I have seen many disappointments when a partner is still young and wanting to have sex and lots of fun where the other partner is started to be limited physically by age.
Good luck if you have to make this decision

Catch 22 type question, if your 20 and you wanna marry a 50 year old (what are your real intentions) I hope the person in mind is legal to buy liquor!

Well, obviously you both have to be of legal age in the state in which you want to marry, but other than than, if you are deeply in love with each other, age should not be a factor to be considered.
Just be sure that you are both mature enough to understand the ramifications, and responsibilities of marriage maturely before going through the act.

yes it does...
u may not change- the other person may grow into a different person...
still if u stay in constant touch, understand the ambitions and views, even leave issues as a discussion not fester into arguments, you can make it work...
remember communication is everything- age will be no spectre in that
