In the movie the Princess Bride, where were the "cliffs of insanity" actually located? I know that there are at least 2 countries that claim that they were shot there, however I don't know which is right.

Please give sources if you have them.

I know that much of the film was shot in Ireland/Scottland.

I've been to a place called "Los Gigantes" on the spanish island of Tenerife (in the canary islands) that people claimed were the cliffs of insanity.

There's also a place in Ireland that people make the same claim of.

if you buy the limited edition dvd they will tell you (in the commentary). i remember that parts of it were actually filmed on a stage but i forget where the long shots were filmed.

it was in ireland or scottland,,, an ex friend of mine got engaged there
