Ok,Now in your honest opinion, how well do you think Oakland will be?
I think we are going to improve greatly,Art Shell(HC) is a man who will instill discipline and put things in order.
D-Line,Burgess and Sapp will both have great years respectively.
Our LB Core is Solid,we have a lot of speed and athletic ability.
Our Secondary is young but very fast and energetic,Huff will make an immediate Impact and the pass defense should improve again.
We ran nickle packages without any blitz formations all of last year, with solid LB's now,we should return to a 4-3 base. This is why our run defense was so terrible.
Our Offense has talent and speed,Brooks will have a great year,Moss and Porter should also be solid and LaMont should also have a better year now that the Offensive Line seems to be set.TE's wont have to help block on every down and can now be part of the passing game.
Special Teams Should be good too
8-8 record

The schedule is not that tough and the key to a wining season will be to win on the road outside the Conf. and be able to win at home against the AFC West teams.
I think that most people today don't know what the Raiders will bring because there are a lot of ???
New HC. New QB. However Brooks has been a winner with the righ supporting cast, which he now has.
Art Shell has brought in Jackie Slater a Hall of Fame O Lineman to help him out. You have to know that the OLine will be a whole lot better with those two guys. A team is only as good as its O LINE!
The only move that I think the Raiders need to address is another RB to help L. Jordan out.
If the Raiders can steal a couple of games like Pitt at home and a road division win, they could go 9-7 which should make your Raider Nation very happy.

A lot depends on the o-line. I believe that Shell and Slater can make these guys into a unit, but the proof is on the field. The LB situation needs to get better, and I think it did through the draft. There are rumors of Seau coming to Oakland, but I don't know how much he'll help. I like the secondary. Schweigert is a gritty little dude and Huff is a stud. The corners are young, but the backups have tons of experience and will help. I hope Brooks can find Moss down the field. A lot of things have to come together, but if they do, this might be a pretty good little team.

I saw the schedule. I think it is a relatively easy schedule and you could circle in some Wins. But I first want to see how the team is in Pre Season. I am pretty confident that we will do well, better than last year and I am hoping San Diego under Rivers will falter and we can go 9-7 and Surprise everyone and make the playoffs

Nope.
The fact that I don't know any of your linebackers...or your CB's is not a good sign for your defense. Well I do know Fabian Washington, hes good.
Thinking that someone who got benched on a team that went 3-13 is the answer to all your problems isn't good either.
PLUS the fact that you have the Chiefs AND the Broncos AND San Diego in your division. Don't see it happening this year.
5-11

The other teams in their division-Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers- were a combined 33-15 last year and none of them looks to have any significant drop off. Sadly I don't think the Raiders will ever truly be a force again until Al Davis sells the team.

Wrong! They will be last in the AFC west, again. When Aaron Brooks is the best you can come up with, you got problems. Nevermind that there defense has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese!

Raiders will finish 5-11. Brooks was benched in NO because he sucked so bad. Moss was very unproductive last year. This will equal last in the AFC West.

The raiders lost the 2007 season by not drafting a QB in the draft with 2 Firtst pick quality QB's still available when their pick came. Brooks is not getting better nor will he ever
