He was breast fed too long!

He was given everything, pampered and never made to be responsible for anything...this is why he found his way into the Texas Air National Guard when most were going to Viet Nam; this is why he found himself Absent Without Leave from that same National Guard when he was supposed to be furloughed to Alabama's National Guard. Its also why he is an alcoholic (and ask an alcoholic--once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic even if you never have another drink). He's used to having everything he wants, doing nothing to get it--he's never learned to compromise, never learned that other people have needs and legitimate views. He has no internal moral fiber as a result--if you think he's running this government you're wrong, he's the corporate front man for those who really call the shots (corporate America and Dick Cheney). And, in a lot of ways, he's no different than a Kennedy.

When you spoil a child you get a self centered, egotiscal, uncompromising, loud mouthed, selfish, morally un-centered adult.

Heredity, environment, education, training. It happens to everyone. I think he turned out quite well. How many other people have an MBA, get elected governer twice, and get elected president twice. My greatest accomplishment: getting out of bed every morning.
