It's simple, the area emits a sort of a electro magnetic pulse that disables electronics equipment. I think there is a rich deposit of come kind of magentic ore under the sea bed that produces such effects.

The reputation of the Bermuda Triangle is a total myth...
People in planes and boats have disappeared all over the world with no explanation at all...
Back when this myth started, sailors were very superstitious and would believe any story they heard...( come to thing of it, people haven't changed that much over the years )
Many, many boats have been sunk with no warning at all by what is known as "rouge waves", and that area is very well know for that....

I believe Seeker. All this human beings right here claiming methane bubbles are the to blame forgot that the Bermuda Triangle is amazingly favourite for taking down boats besides as PLANES. I actual have traveled from the Unites States to Puerto Rico many circumstances (crossing the triangle each and each and every time) and that i'm nevertheless alive. it is all BS, in my view.

there is a specific area within the triangle which have exceptionally strong magnetic field and the gravitational force is very strong, any planes or ships attempting to pass by that area will lost control of their planes or ships and they will be suck into it. Try accessing that particular area in a submarine, u will be able to see all the ships and planes that are being sucked in there, but don't move too near to the magnetic field too cos u will become part of a pile of machines there. Otherwise u should be able to get near enough to see everything from a safe distance. *** Don't probe further, i am just imagining things here. :) ***

Because, as you say, boats and planes have disappeared in this area and a logical explanation has never been found. As such it does remain a mystery.
Lots of theories including alien space ships being responsible.
