The In-Laws, the Remake: The first In-Laws was irreplaceable with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin...and it was more fun wondering along with Arkin's character whether Falk's character really was CIA or not. The new In-Laws was an insult to the original.
It Happened One Christmas - a pathetic remake of It's A Wonderful Life, only with a woman in the role of Jimmy Stewart...it might've worked if they made a more modern time period, but it was still the 40's! The switched gender roles didn't work....In the 40's, it was still normal for the guy to have all the financial woes in supporting the family.
