You must have been watching a different world cup, or placing too much expectation on Ronaldinho.
What you forgot is the fact that Every single player in the Brazilian side are powerhouse of talents. So if Ronaldinho was outshone by his colleagues then lets celebrate soccer.
He gave a good account of himself though.
Curious though he looked like a cissy in training!

I suspect that Ronaldinho might have been trying to help the team by trying to play the role of provider. It seemed to me that he was single-mindedly bent on creating scoring opportunities for Ronaldo and Adriano and, in the event, subduing his own individual skills. He attempted very few, if any, incisive runs, creative dribbling, or powerful shots at goal which has made him so great until this world cup.

There are times when nothing works. This is what our dear friend experienced. The good news is that he admitted it himself and the fact that he is still young is enough compensation for everyone including himself. He should be able to come to Africa in 2010 and end it where he started it.
