Who in the movie line marrys early..be it in Bollywood or Hollywood. and i say early cause..the life and deman of a heroin in Bollywood is onlt till she is about 27-28 ..no 1 offers them the same kinda roles afterwards. So to make to most of the time before them pass a certain age/...they dont marry.

I think it's because of the cultural expectation that once they marry they will put their family ahead of their careers, even if their husband has a less successful career than they do. I think it's something I hope they get over soon because there are some really great heroines that don't act as much anymore because they are married and have children.
It's still common in chinese cinema too. I think that's sad. If the woman makes more money then she should continue to work and the husband should take care of the house and the children.

Indians do not extremely marry outdoors their race or custom to any race(rather because maximum are in prepared marriage), its not in common words blacks although yet even as they do marry out they often in common words marry whites, rather Indian men in Europe or if their Americanized or westernized (that's low to uncommon). yet Africans(rather east africans from horn of africa) & Arabs do not extremely marry outdoors their custom and/or race both, so africans (and Arabs) are literally not particular both, many gained't even marry different blacks of alternative cultures even. i know many Africans and Arabs that marry their own and could not marry outdoors their custom, so i don't think of its honest to criticize Indians. My wager is they prefer to shop their custom

South Asian women are culturally disadvantaged(im one too). Marriage can be very frustrating, specially if u r in the showbiz

well the answer is really simple When Something decomposes we wouldnt want it rite??? the same goes for actress as long as they r single everybody wans them but once they are married they are no longer needed!
