If the theory is correct about Bushs' motivation about the war on terrorism was oil driven since he has ties to the oil industry, would america be in Iraq right now if Al Gore won that close presidential race?? I dont believe so. It goes to show how voting is very important.

No, why would he make that stupid decision?

Bush had all the evidence indicating that Iraq was in no way connected to 9/11 and Gore would have no reason to attack them. Gore may have ties to the oil business but he is not in bed with the Saudis. Bush also has a track record of shady deals with the Saudis to include the bin Ladens, and every member of his family, including him, made a lot of money in the taxpayer funded 2.1 Trillion dollar bail out of the Savings and Loan Industry. The biggest scandal in US history!!

In addition, Gore would not have side stepped the UN Security Council, which is the only place you can get an authorization to use force. Bush had no evidence and he still doesn't.

Moreover, it is against international law to attack a sovereign nation without provocation!

Gore would also have had a good vice president in Edwards. He wouldn't have a whore like Cheney, who is currently being sued for leaking a CIA operatives name, which in most peoples mind's is a crime against the United States!!

And Gore's IQ is 53 points higher than George Bush's

We are talking about Gore not Clinton! What exactly did Reagan do about the Marines whe were blown up in Beirute??? NOTHING!

As far as the Cole, you are mistaken! Obviously the bombers were killed and a reward was offered to catch whoever was responsible!

Ali Qaed Sinan al-Harthi, who is believed to have planned the attack, was killed by the CIA using an AGM-114 Hellfire missile launched from a RQ-1 Predator unmanned drone.

Hello,

The answer to the question is no.
-Gore would have sent in troops to Tora Bora and caputured Osama Bin Laden, without invading Iraq which had nothing to do with Osama or Al Qudea.............

People who are familar with the this subject can tell you that the desire and plan to invade Iraq had been pushed by a very specific Republican faction.

This Pro Iraq faction have thier reasons, which i can discuss more if you request.

But the bottom line is that the pro-Iraqi invasion group called them selves the Project for a new American Century. Many of thier members are current cabinet memebers of the Bush administration. They wrote Clinton a letter demanding he invade Iraq, for stratiegic reasons, and that quote it would take another act like pearl habor.
i am not making this up.

Clinton as others have stated said Sadam was a threat...
But what the other failed to say.......or rather what they distort is that Clinton neutralized Sadam with Air raids and bombings...
side note......
UN sanctions were going to be lifted soon, and Sadam was going to trade in Euros not dollars for oil.

Great interviews with the CIA anylst who looked over the intellegence, and how disputes between the CIA and Rumsesfled were part of the reason OSama got away....must see.

911 ought to have come and gone. Im sorry but the responce

"no you would be in the mosque learning to pray to Allah and wondering what happened to your freedom"

is quite possibly the dumbest most uninformed verbal fecal debris Ive ever heard. Do you honestly think that if we hadnt invaded Iraq that they would have invaded us and somehow threatened our way of life???
This just goes to show how increadably brainwashed Bush has these people into thinking there was some imenent threat from the middle east that he "saved" us from by illigally invading and destroying Iraq. Hey genius Iraqis never gave a fu*k if your goofy asz praying to Jesus or whateva. Osama is still alive and well.

Good question but I seriously doubt it. Gore has a history of analyzing the crap out of everything and I don't think he would have jumped the gun like Bush did. The question would be does he analyze and can't make a decision. Don't know.

We know Gore is smarter than Bush (not too many people aren't). We know he can speak more than one sentence without embarrassing himself (and the country). I think the country would be in a much better position without Bush.

Probably not, that previous administration never did a damn thing about the USS Cole.

While i agree with points from both administrations, I have no faith Gore has any military knowledge - not that Bush has any brains

Perhaps, but it would be more likely that you would be there as a result of an international consensus (as with the first Gulf War) instead of the present mess.
