Not too sure whether Zippy was a chutney ferret but I am positive that George played at the bottom of the garden. He always had his finger in his mouth. Could it have been George provocatively saying he wanted to suck Zippy off?? I mean it was a complete denial of oral sex for George when Geoffrey zipped up Zippy's mouth; nothing more, nothing less!!

Zippy and Bungle went to the jungle to have a bit of fun,
zippy got silly and pulled out his w!lly and stuck it up bungles bum... that proves zippy was gay, i think George just went along with the crowd...

How do u want to define Gay? As it was @ the time, then damn well yes. If you want to define it as now then maybe yes but I have some info somewhere on the contary(opposite). Maybe they were bi!!!! lol.
