What would people on t.v.know about life?You are not the one with a ghosting effect around you.Nor will you fade out if someone moves the rabbit ears the wrong way. Who told you such nonsense anyway?The Cookie Monster or Homer Simpson?
If they do it again,turn them off.

if it was people on the TV, they're probably right - we could all use some "away time" from our tvs....
if it was the TV itself, maybe your best comeback should be a dose or 2 of anti-psychotics......

show it pictures of other tvs and ask it which one it thinks would make a good replacement... It will square away and not jabber anymore
