on some late night programs you see sign language actors waving their arms and legs about and making their silly faces but worst get in the way of what your trying to watch.
why cant you turn them ON/OFF like subtitles?

I agree. It's like there's some one standing in the way of the TV the whole time and it's really annoying.

The shows are put on at that time so deaf people can watch what's going on and get the full effect of what's going on in the show. The subtitles don't always give everything that's said. If you don't like them, change channel!

Yeh I end up watching the stupid person rather than the tv show. And why do they always pull such stupid faces.
I guess from a deaf persons point of view, why are they only on late at night? Do all deaf people not sleep?

I've found watchig the same program on terrestrial telly gets rid of them, however if it's a digital only channel, you'll have to put up with them!

Threre suppose to be there, its not an option for the viewer. Maybe they have to put them on for the deaf viewers.
