Yes. My dream is:
I'm on a beach, just lazing about in the sun. I hear an odd sound, and recognize it as the water flowing backwards away from the shoreline. I know what this means (that a tsunami will soon follow), but don't heed the warning. It's not that I don't care, only that I know I'm powerless to do anything about it. I can't stop it from happening and I can't outrun it. And so, it comes as no surprise when a wave of staggering height (at least 100 feet high) slowly builds ever upwards and moves inexorably towards shore. I watch this happen.
The temperature is warm, but not hot. The color of the air around me is a reddish-amber hue...like sepia toned, as though the sun were setting. It's very quiet, except for the sound of rushing water. I can smell that fishy ocean scent and taste a little salt on my tongue. (Yes, I experience all of my senses in my dreams.) I think I'm alone on the beach, but know that I hadn't been that way all day. And I just lay there watching the wave crest, and then crash right on top of me.
The dream plays exactly the same every single time. I've been having this dream since I was a teenager...about 25 years now.
I don't dream it as often as I used to. It would usually occur about twice a year. Maybe 3 times. Now, it seems to be happening more like once every couple of years. The interesting feature about my dream is that when I'm dreaming it, I'm *aware* that I'm dreaming. It wasn't always this way; only in the last 10 years, or so.
I have no idea what this dream means. I don't know why tsunami, I don't know why I feel powerless yet unafraid. But I don't fear the dream like I used to when I was young. Maybe because I know it's a dream while I'm dreaming it.
The other recurring dream I have is about flying...but the scenarios change, so not sure if that counts. Sometimes I'm just flying over fields of grain and wildflowers. Other times I'm flying fast and furious, knowing I'm being chased by "something."
I don't know what these dreams mean, either. But I really enjoy the flying ones!

I've had reoccurring dreams -some have had deep messages for me - like seeing my husband flirting with another woman (I usually hit him in the morning when I have that one - I tell him it means that I don't feel secure with him because he is not giving me enough attention) or the reoccurring dream where I'm looking for the toilet and usually that means I really do need the toilet.

for several nights, I dreamt of a kid I knew, but never liked...the thing was though, in real life, he's dead. So it was bugging me as to why he kept popping up in my dreams. 2 1/2 years later, I end up moving to a town for a job...the town's name? Same as the last name of the kid that kept popping up in my dreams. Thing is, I didn't even realize the connection until after I'd already moved here.
