Does nothing exist?
for nothing to exist it needs no physical properties. So is it able to exist seeing it doesn't really need anything to exist. so can nothing exist everywhere. when i try to picture nothing i picture total darkness but total darkness is still something.

1 cannot be divided into 0 because there is no number that can divide it into 0.

Meaning something cannot be divided into nothing in the physical universe because there will always be a remainder.

This area of space that was devoid of all energy and matter could not be seen or detected because it would have to hold the total energy and mass of the entire known universe out of its area or shape or form it doesn't have.....nothing has no form or shape and has no ability to displace or reflect or radiate. Therefore nothing does not exist.

nothingness by itself is meaningless in physical terms, but definfing nothingness as some place being devoid of something, then I can say yes to your question. as for the symbolic existence of nothingness, yes it does exist because we recognixe nothingness as a unique thing or symbol representing an alternate reality beyond our own physical one. I hope i'm making sense!
