I m basically from Rajasthan, n heard of RFC (rajasthan financial corportion) , a government agency which gives these kind of loans . i ll b happy if anybody knows about the process , and if there r any facility which can be gained being a NRI. hope they won't discourage it . its always better to work hard for our own motherland rather than working and paying taxes in a country not belonging to us !!!!!!!!

Your just label of being an NRI may not work if you don't have any worthy business proposal for funding. Your sudden love for your motherland vis-a-vis requirements for funds would be evaluated by the appropriate authorities if you could present a realistic viable project fulfilling funding norms and conditions.
For your first hand experience, whenever you are in India next time, make it convenient to visit the Financial Corporation Office in Jaipur, discuss with them your project and have their initial reactions. If you are willing to pay fee to a professional, he can do this job on your behalf and appraise you of the outcome.

try for windfarm busienss in rajasthan as this in very much demand and many more are ready to fiance u.. if u got good land at right place..
