No, evidence shows that there are so many river in the mars it means water, but researching shows that maybe in the past there was survive thing but after some year they annihilate .

Yes, bacterial life! they say that a civilization existed there, but they were destroyed by a rogue planet pass by. Eveidence = cydonia. there is also a controversey that NASA deliberately turn the hubble photos of mars from greenish to red. i love conspiracy theories!

I think it's highly possible that there was primitive life on the planet at one point in time but due to some great change, the planet was turned hostile to life

There is now. It's fairly likely that the probes and surveyors we've sent up there have had some pretty hardy bacteria cling along for the ride.

No, I really doubt it...that planet just can't sustain life. That would be cool, but if there is life its probably nothing intelligent.
