I've observed a funny paradox in people. The city dwellers that are born into the city long their entire lives to get a home in the country. The country dwellers that are born into the small town in the country spend their entire lives longing to make it big in the big city. And us suburban dwellers born into the suburbs just seem hopelessly confused, having no idea where we want to go.

I prefer small towns. It's nice to know most of the people in town. I gossip sometimes sucks. I lived in a bigger city for a little over a year and 2 of my kids bikes were stolen. We live in a small town and my kids can leave there bikes outside and most of the time we don't even lock our doors. I also like that I can walk right on the streets and people will drive by and say Hello.

I prefer big city, because of the anonymity. I love people around me, although I have no need to make contact with them. I love night life, shopping, restaurants, sport center and market in big cities. Sometimes I go to the village and I like it, but no more than for a week.

I prefer a 1 book city. That is, a city that has a telephone book that just fits in 1 book.
A two book city is too big, congested and impersonal, a smaller city does not have the opportunities for work study and play.
A 1 book city means you bump into people everwhere you go but is big enough to escape people if you want,

actually both, I like the big buildings and the mass transit and variety of entertainment or the big city, but I also like the closeness of the people in a small town. I like knowing my neighbors, and I like the fresh air and quiet of a small town.

I prefer living in big cities. I love the fast paced life and I like the convenience of living in a city. I also love city lights and I like being around people. :)

I live in a small town but it's nice to go to a big city once in a while. I definitely want to live in a big city when i go to college ,but once you start a family it's better to raise them in a small town...that's my opinon.
