Before I start, let me say that I am going to the doctor tomorrow. But I need to know how much to freak now.

I experienced what I thought were symptoms of a yeast infection. I've had several and know what it feels like. I waited a few days to see if it would clear up but it didn't. So last night I finally resorted to Monistat.

In addition to the itching and burning, I had sharp internal pains every once in awhile. It was most uncomfortable right after wiping.

This morning, I felt 100% worse. I felt like I was having cramps, but I just had my period two weeks ago. Tonight, I went to pee and wiped carefully. There was no discharge or smell. A few minutes later, I felt a sudden wetness between my legs and experienced a watery, bloody "leak."

I used a pad and it showed blood immediately. I looked in a mirror and have what looks like large blood filled patches in the opening of my vagina. They're almost black and HURT a lot.

WHAT IS THIS???
And should I continue with the Monistat?

I'm definitely not pregnant.

I think the blood is from these strange, painful blood blisters. Nothing like this has ever happened to me and I'm really worried.

I have not had sex recently so I know it isn't an STD.

No, I do not have herpes. I know that for a fact. And this definitely isn't it, anyway. Herpes do not bleed, and these are blood-filled welts, almost. :(

I can't really give a definite answer to that. You really need to see your doctor fast coz bleeding is not a good sign (especially if you are not pregnant well..you said you had your period already ). Could be a sign of internal bleeding..Hope you will get better..God bless!

Herpes takes two to four months to break out for the first time. HPV (genital warts) takes up to two years before the first break out. So now do you think you have an STD? Herpes starts as a blood blister that then bursts and turns into a soar. I'm sorry this has happened to you but you do have herpes.
