if she accepts money then it is blatant EXTORTION.
she cannot press charges on his family, only on the boy who was with her daughter.
however there is also the question of consent etc etc.
i think your friend should re-evaluate her parenting skills regarding her daughter and stop looking to blame everybody else for her problems.

No place will charge the 19yr old as the 17yr old is more than old enough and the age diff is only 2 yrs. Also they would need the cooperation of the 17yr old, if she says nothing happened there is no evidence. Her daughter is more likely closer to 18 anyway. This mom is twisted and I hope the daughter leaves on her own soon. The mother will be the one in trouble for extortion and the fact she's trying to get money she has no cred ability in court.

Nobody should take cash...honestly that is prostitution. The "he says" and "she says" really doesn't matter. She needs to press charges, and if her daughter lied to him, it will just make him a little wiser next time...sad to say. If I knew my son wasn't lying, I would fight them...but if he wasn't he would have to pay the price.

Either way, how would money solve this?
