Honestly, the music genres are getting worse and it doesn't seem to be getting better. I definitely think the producers need to stop sampling so many classics and come up with some original tunes because I don't even care about so & so's new cd from those particular genres.

Rap is SO offensive, I can't even classify it as "music" - and don't understand how anyone else can call it that, either. Today's "R&B" doesn't sound much better, but at least there is an actual TUNE (as opposed to a monotonous, repetitious, electronic "drum" beat) and someone SINGING (as opposed to spouting out "nursery rhymes" for the depraved). They may be LAME, but at least they fall into the realm of actual music...
Appalling???? Geez - that's not even the word for it! Rap should be banned altogether, because it is detrimental to the well-being of society as a whole. All it is doing is spreading hatred & violence. It's SICKENING, and I cannot fathom for the life of me WHAT anyone could possibly like about it! Furthermore, all that sh*t sounds EXACTLY THE SAME!!! If bands like Zeppelin & Pink Floyd are what's considered "old school" these days, then I'm PROUD to say I'm in that category. They do REAL music!!!!!!!!!!!

It's all relative, but I'm sure you knew that. You produce what sells, and people are buying it. Just because your not buying it, doesn't mean it not selling to the rest of the world.

personally I hate rap and all that new stuff,
I listen to old school like pink floyd and led zeppelin,
and I think people should start making music like them.
