A deal between Apple Computers who makes I-Pods,and Apple records the Beatles recording label.Their has been an ongoing court case over the issue,I have enclosed a link.

many of the rights of Beatles songs are owned by lucrative people. Like Disney, Michael Jackson and finally back to the last surviving Beatles member.

Early in the Eighties there was a big rush to purchase the rights to famous and even infamous song titles which rich people did a lot of. No one even thought to own their own songs until a court ruling placed these songs into a category that could be purchased as copywrited material. The Beatles hits are so huge that the owners of the songs allow the rights to these songs to go out only when a lot of money has crossed their palms.

There was a huge ta-do about a Nike Commercial int he late eighties where the whole commercial was set to one of the Beatles songs and it reportedly cost the Nike company millions of dollars to do that in a mass marketing advertisement.

Because no one but Wacko Jacko has the RIGHT to sell them. He owns them and won't release them. I'm not even the biggest beatles fan, but gheessh. What an idiot to do this to the rest of the world? I need some Obladi Oblida on my MP3 player, man!!! Nevernever is he gonna let us have it.

genuinely, i did not comprehend this, besides the undeniable fact that the answer economic corporation consents with the first 2 human beings, it is Mr Jackson protecting the rights and he needs extra funds than I-tunes are prepared to grant than their popular artistry fee! If i became Paul McCartney, i'd punch him contained in the nostril!

Because the Beatles' estates and whichever ones of them are still alive are super-protective of their songs' rights.
