Is this what your son wants to do? If not then stop right now. It's also not good for their growing bones. Check into the health aspect before endangering him any further, please?

i think that at 5 their bones are not developed enough for such rigorous training. yes it is good to establish physical exercise routines when they are young, however its just as good to establish mental exercise too. have a read-a-thon, or teach him to play chess, (my 5 yr old son started whipping my butt after about 6 months), games of any sort can teach him fair play and patience of others while they have a turn, teach him cooking skills, and don't forget spirituality so he can believe he is good even if he can't do 70+ at 5.

to reiterate: my advice is to help him develop in all areas. by the way, kudos for you for being involved with your son, even if the question made it sound like you are overly excited about his physical training.

in peace,
lily

Seriously, dude! Let your 5 year-old son ACT LIKE A 5 YEAR-OLD!!!! You could be pushing him and projecting your own self on to him...stop and re-evaluate your priorities!!! Listen to the people around you, and to what they are saying....they care about you!

Judging from the other questions you have asked, you should have your kids all taken away from you. That is if you actually have kids ... you sound like you're making this stuff up.

Beat him until he does what you want. The only way kids learn is through fear.

If you are making him do this , i think this is wrong, he;s a lilttle too young. wait til he's older.
