Has anyone from the US on this board moved from the US to the UK? What was your experience?

What was/is your experience e.g. learning how to drive on the left side, housing issues, etc.etc?

I know this isn't really answering your question and it's a GOOD question but I just had to say something.

I would give ANYTHING to be able to move to the UK. I would love to live there for about 5 years atleast and unconciously pick up a british accent! That way I would have an excuse for having one suddenly.

I hear it is easily adopted. That would be SOOO cool.

Driving on the left? Oh boy.

I can see it now. Knowing me, it would take me forever to get used to it.

I would be taking out trees, fences, phone boothes, double decker buses. It would be pitiful but I would practice VERY hard and hope to GOD, I didn't drive over a person!
